New Pilgrim Press has changed its name to Aviv Publishing!

Why Aviv? Aviv [pronounced ah-veev] is Hebrew for Spring.  Aviv represents both the season of Spring and Passover on the Hebrew calendar as well as the concept of renewal and redemption.  I have always felt Spring to be one of the most powerful, physical representations of Redemption, and Redemption is the core of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  It is the theme of God's story throughout history and our individual lives.  Our written testimonies and artistic expressions are all reflections of this - the anthem in one unique way or another of the Redeemed.  Spring is a tangible miracle of life from death, beauty from ashes, hope from despair, light from darkness, new mornings after long nights.  When our hearts were dead and cold, Jesus brought us back to life....  Spring.  Aviv.  This is the story we exist to tell; the picture we exist to display.
